Jesus Christ is God, as taught from the Holy Scriptures, king James Bible 1611/1769 Pure Cambridge Edition

The first verses to make this all make these most sense would be:

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

John 1:14  "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh.

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
The Word, is the Lord Jesus Christ

GOD is ONE but manifest in 3 persons, all equally God and none contrary to the other.
Please set asside all carnal ideas that liken the Godhead to earthly things, God is a SPIRIT to begin with.
I have heard far too many people try to say "it's like this water exists as either water, ice, or steam" and I always stop them in their tracks because water cannot exist in 3 different forms at one time, there is a change that takes place due to external circumstances and God does not change, He is always the same, it's blasphmey to try to rationalise something your mind wasn't made to understand because there is nothing else like Him.  Please consider all these verses and hear the matter out before dismissing it.

The Old Testament doctrine of the Godhead

Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:"  (In the first chapter of the Bible read how God manifest in 3 persons talked between themselves "US" and "OUR" are plural words)

Isaiah 7:14  "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. "
(written: 712 BC Before Christ)

Isaiah 9:6  "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 42:8  "I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.  (catholics/masons/muslims take serious note)"

Isaiah 48:11  "For mine own sake, [even] for mine own sake, will I do [it]: for how should [my name] be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another."

Isaiah 48:16-17 "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there [am] I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go"

Jeremiah 23:5-6  "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this [is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS."

Zechariah 12:10  "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn."

Psalm 110:1  "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."

Mica 5:2  "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of Judah, [yet] out of thee shall he come forth unto me [that is] to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth [have been] from of old, from everlasting." Jehovah shares His glory only with Jesus...  NO OTHER, simply because Jesus Christ is God Almighty.

The New Testament doctrine of the Godhead:

Jesus Christ plainly stated that He is God in Luke 17:17-18 "And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger."

Matthew 1:23  "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. "

John 15:26-27 "where the Lord Jesus said: "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning."

Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and [my] Father are one.” When first encountered, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, when we look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement, “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.(John 10:33). Now we see an actual claim. The Jews understood Jesus’ statement to be a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus never corrects the Jews by saying, “I did not claim to be God.” That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God in John 10:30.

John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was,
I am. " Again, in response, the Jews take up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Why would the Jews want to stone Jesus if He hadn’t said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God? John repeatedly tells us of the Lord's connection to "I Am". See John: 4:26, 8:24, 8:28, 8:58,and 13:19.

The Apostle Paul tells us that Jesus "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven
, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" (Colossians 1:15-17)

Acts 20:28  "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." 1 Timothy 3:16  "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

Luke 7:16  "And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and,
That God hath visited his people."

John 5:18  "Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father,
making himself equal with God."
Clearly there are modern day Pharisees that still today get mad at those of us that know in our hearts who the Lord Jesus Christ is

John 13:13 "Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for [so]
I am."

Mark 12:28-31 "
And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.

Mark 14:61-62  "But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."

John 14:9-11  "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?

Believest thou not that I am in the Father
, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake."

John 20:28  "And Thomas answered and said unto him,
My Lord and my God."

2 Corinthians 4:4  "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  The god of this world is none other than that old dragon, satan, the devil.

Philippians 2:6  "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"

Colossians 2:9  "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the
Godhead bodily."

1 Timothy 3:16  "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

1 Timothy 6:15  "Which in his times he shall shew, [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;"

Hebrews 1:2-3  "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"

Hebrews 1:8  "But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom."

Titus 2:13  "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"

John 8:24-25  "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even [the same] that I said unto you from the beginning."

John 8:58  "Jesus said unto them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."
In the next verse you read the Jews took up stones against the Lord Jesus, they hated the truth as do many more today do.

Luke 5:17-26  "And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was [present] to heal them.

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought [means] to bring him in, and to lay [him] before him.
And when they could not find by what [way] they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with [his] couch into the midst before Jesus.
And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day."

Revelation 1:8  "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
Revelation 19:11-13  "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God."
Revelation 19:16  "And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." Note how Jesus always cast out demons, cured the sick, and did miracles in His own name. Also, on several occasions Jesus deliberately said; "I AM". This would never have been taken lightly by any Jew of Jesus' time, and to understand why you would need to know who the great "I AM" is in the Old Testament

Colossians 1:15-27

The Apostle Paul lauds the Son of God as Creator of all things (v.16) and describes Him as existing "all things were created by him, and for him:" and as the one by whom "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (v.17). This is in perfect harmony with the entire picture Scripture paints of the Eternal Word of God (John 1:1), who was made flesh (John 1:14) and of whom it was written: "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:3). The writer of Hebrews also pointed out that God's Son "upholding all things by the word of his power" (Hebrews 1:3) and that He is Deity in all its fullness, even as Paul wrote to the Colossians: "For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;" (Colossians 1:19)

The Scriptures alone bear unmistakable testimony to the creative activity of God's Son, distinguishing Him from among the "things" created, as the Creator and Sustainer of "all things.", to claim Jesus Christ was not God you would need to remove from the Word of God, friend this is one of many reason why I will not study anything but the king James Bible and I believe all other bibles to be new age perversions as they teach of another christ, anti-christ.

I know Masons, Muslims, Mormons, Christian Scientists, Jehovah Witnesses, Unitarians, Scientologists, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Seventh Day Adventists -and many others - will not want to hear this, but the Bible declares that Jesus was the FINAL revelation of God to man (Hebrews 1:1-3). There have been no others.

All Christian and Jewish Scripture point toward the Messiah's coming. With God, what seems to be a contradiction or paradox is in reality only the fact that only God knows in advance what is to come. How could God come to earth and be born a child, yet remain God? With God, nothing is impossible. Muslems and Jews seem to be facing this same dilemma that those Jews who awaited the Messiah before Jesus arose faced. It all seems so impossible to both Muslems and Jews. The greatest of kings; born in the humblest of places.... God, born in the flesh! This is what those Jews alive before Jesus came knew from their prophets and prophecies about the coming Messiah. It all seemed impossible --like a contradictory paradox --until after Jesus came. Suddenly the impossible fell into place:

Psalms 138:2  "I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name."  God magnifies His WORD above even His own name, thus why I believe the KJB to be the true word of God without error.

Lastly if you are a born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ please repent of calling the Godhead the trinity that is a feminine name that the word of God doesn't teach us to call the holy union of God.
