In this study I will post all the scripture I have in regards to the Day of the LORD, coming and gathering, or more commonly called the "Rapture" and why I believe in a POST-Tribulation / PRE-Wrath Coming and Gathering of the saints. 1 Thes 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.  1 Thess 3: 1 Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone;
2 And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
Read closely, we are appointed to suffer tribulation. 2 Thes 2: 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Verse 1 shows that the coming of Lord Jesus Christ and the gathering are both the same event (the day of the LORD).
Verse 2 is a warning, just read and believe
Verse 3 Let no man deceive you that day shall NOT come except there FIRST come a falling away and the son of perdition (anti-christ) is revealed.  Pre tribulation rapture followers claim the "church will be raptured BEFORE the antichrist is revealed"  That isn't what the Bible teaches here in this verse!  DO NOT BE DECEIVED!
Verse 4 who else would this be but the anti-christ

You clearly can read here that the day of the LORD will not come except there FIRST come a falling away and the son of perdition be revealed.
