In this study my aim is to show how Christians are not under/bound to the law/10 commandments/or the other 613 laws found in the Old Testament but rather the true Law of Christ which is grace as well as how your works cannot save you.

Noah and Abaham didn't have the written law it was written on their hearts

Noah was a perfect and upright man Genesis chapter 6

people that break the law need it written down

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Law was given to Moses because the people were disobedient and those are the people that need law
Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ, which replaced the law

When you break the law you get more because law is bondage and serving sin puts you into bondage - Deuteronomy chapter 28

The ONLY thing that can justify you before a just and Holy God, is the love of His Son, Jesus Christ who purchased you with His precious blood.

Romans chapter 3 says:

  • Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
  • Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.
  • But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
  • Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
  • For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
  • Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
  • Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
  • To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
  •

    People can strive to keep the law but don't have love

    1 John 4:7-8

    Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

    He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

    11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

    17-21

    Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

    There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

    We love him, because he first loved us.

    If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

    And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

    Romans 8:1-4

    [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

    For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

    For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

    That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

    Romans 6:14-15

    For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

    What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

    Romans 10:3-4

    For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

    For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

    Hebrew 7:19-26

    For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope [did]; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

    And inasmuch as not without an oath [he was made priest]:

    (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

    By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

    And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

    But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

    Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

    For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

    Gal 3:10-14

    For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

    But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

    And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

    Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

    That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

    God never wanted man to serve him by written law, He always has wanted man to serve him out of a pure and loving heart

    If you have to command someone you can't make them love you,

    that's why commandments and law, you cannot be justified because you can do them and still not have love in your heart.

    God expects us to be a reflection of His love

    1 John 3:14-16

    We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death.

    Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

    Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.

    1 John 4:8-11

    He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

    In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

    Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.

    Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

    John 13:34 The law of LOVE

    A NEW COMMANDMENT, which replaces the old

    Oh but so many claim how the commandments are done away with but the fact is by loving one another

    you fulfill the whole of the law and there is no need of any written commandments if you love one another.

    Love God with all your heart and the second is just as good, love your neighbor as you do yourself!

    Mark 12:31

    John 15:13There is no greater law than the law of love, love replaced the law of Moses

    Don't let some hireling wolf tell you how God hates, when the Lord Jesus Christ loves the lost.

    1 John 3:4  Whoever commiteth sin also tasngresth the law

    We are ALL WORTHY OF DEATH.  There is NO righteous no not one!

    Jesus Christ took your place on the cross to purchase your redemption from sin and hell.

    That's is a perfect and pure picture of Grace, a innocent KING, died in your place to give you grace!

    I DESERVE TO DIE and THE LORD CAME AND DIED IN MY PLACE TO RESTORE ME TO THE FATHER!

    GARACE TO MY PLACE!

    Jesus Christ NEVER broke the law!

    Grace is not only a expression of God's love, it is an expression of love that we should have for one another

    and we are not to just have grace toward God, we are to have it for one another.

    Grace and love is not separable, just like faith and belief.

    Grace is defined as the good will and act toward one another.

    Jesus said "As I have loved you, you ought to love one another""

    Deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me

    1 John 3:23

    And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

    2 John 5-6

    And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

    And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

    Matthew 5:43-48

    Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

    But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

    That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

    For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

    And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so?

    Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    Romans 12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

    This is the fulfillment of the law when you can love one another

    Romans 13:8-10 and Galatians 5:14

    Romans 6:1  If you are still in sin how are you saved??

    What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

    God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

    This makes it sound more and more like James 1:22

    "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

    For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

    For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was."

    So many claim that isn't for them, they hate self examination to see IF they be in the faith.  2 Cor 13:15

    What does saved me?  Rescued or delivered

    Matthew 1 a Son is born and thou shalt call His name Jesus and He shall save His people from SIN (NOT JUST HELL)

    Grace did NOT come to give you a license to Sin, Grace came to deliver and set you FREE from the curse of the law

    thus making you dead to sin.

    You don't need the 10 commandments, you just need love and truth in your heart!

    John 14:15 IF you love me you will do what?  KEEP "MY" COMMANDMENTS, then I will pray to the Father.

    The comforter to the people of God isn't money but the Holy Ghost of God!

    1 John 1:5-10

    This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

    If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

    But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

    If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

    If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

    Romans 7:1-6

    Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

    For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to [her] husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of [her] husband.

    So then if, while [her] husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

    Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, [even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

    For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

    But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.

    The woman (us) was bound by the law, the first husband, which she could not divorce and marry another so her first husband had to die which means Jesus Christ killed the law thus she can marry the new Husband, the Lord Jesus Christ

    SO the law was killed by the body of Christ so you can be married to another, the Lord Jesus Christ (Him who was raised from the dead) who gave the Law of Love.

    SO that we can be fruit unto which CAN NOT BE DONE BY THE LAW

    So who are you married to the law or the Lord Jesus Christ?  There is NO OTHER WAY THAN JESUS CHRIST!  John 14:6

    Romans 3:23

    Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

    But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

    Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    Marriage is a perfect example of love and this is why the devil always attacks people's marriage's and wants to cause divorce and worse perverse marriage of sodomites, BUT

    God NEVER EVER ordained queer marriage, so the only marriage they have is just a gov stationed one which is not recognized by REAL churches much less God almighty, it's just lust and paper at the best, the don't really love

    each other, it's just reprobate lust and their hate for God and righteousness.

    There are only 2 oaths a man is right in the sight of the Lord for taking, the first is when they are born again and saved and the second is the vows one exchanges with their spouse.  FOW BETTER OR FOR WORSE UNTIL DEATH DO US PART.

    I've been married for almost 7 years now and only saved over 3, my Wife and I got remarried and re took our vows in church and swore before God to keep our marriage pure and honorable before him.  No matter what I will not let the devil have my marriage to God nor my Wife,

    my brethren your heart must strive for the same.  Husbands love your Wife as Christ loved the church, that means be ready to lay down your life and everything for her!

    Aint that how Christ Jesus loves you?  Sickness and health?  unto death?  Didn't He give himself for you?  No matter what God will not give up on Him so ought not you!

    My Wife and I did not write our vows nor did we even rehearse them, on the spot we told each other what we felt from the heart and they were never written.

    The whole our our vows was LOVE, so is the same with the law of LOVE that the Lord Jesus Christ commands of His servants!

    Col 2:9-15

    For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

    And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

    In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

    Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

    And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

    Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

    So in the end we are taught that the 10 commandments were given to bring love and that there are no longer any ODANCES against us "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross"

    No there is no end to the MORAL LAWS, they are the laws of love, IF you really LOVE GOD and OTHERS will WILL FULL FILL THE WHOLE OF THE LAW and you will have to present your body as a LIVING SACAFICE.

    We are also taught that we are NOT justified by the works of the LAW!

    In other words, the law is Good to do, BUT just because you don't kill, steal, rape, fornicate, drink beer, ect does not earn or merit your Salvation, GRACE is undeserved favor.  Your works are as filthy rags

    Isaiah 64:4 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

    Romans 3:19-31

    Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

    Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

    But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

    Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

    To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

    Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

    Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

    [Is he] the God of the Jews only? [is he] not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

    Seeing [it is] one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

    Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

    To be more clear I am talking about the cermenial law not the moral law that you no longer follow.

    Now lets take a look at Hebrews 10:26

    For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

    Many people pervert this scripture and say some crazy things like if you know better you cannot have another beer and be saved.  REALLY?  Don't ever lie, lust, boast, remarry after divorce, or get prideful EVER AGAIN!

    Let's read on a little:

    But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

    He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

    Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

    For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

    Here I believe we are to understand now being brought into the knowledge that you must be born again and accept the commandments of GOD/Jesus Christ and after doing so you cannot divorce or break the covenant and hate the law.

    This also proves that just as faith produces works, repentance is part of grace.  No where is scriptures saying you will be perfect in the corruptible flesh but you are to strive against sin.

    In order to have the law of love or the law of God written on your heart, ye must be born again!

    This expounds on Hebrews 6:4-6

    For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

    And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

    If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.

    You cannot forsake the Lord Jesus Christ or the Faith plain pure and simple my fiends, unbelief is an unforgivable sin, without faith you cannot be justified.

    You faith isn't a coat, you cannot take it off and put it on whenever it suits you, Acts 3:19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out meaning YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN to be saved!

    If someone is trying to tell you how you can hate others, that person doesn't know the love of God and you should flee them!

    Loving someone is not lying to them or being ecumenical.

    Romans 2:1 says:
    Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

    We are to love the sinner and hate the sin and if you think otherwise then you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ, spend more time searching the Scriptures and humble your heart to the truth.

    Saints of God I truly hope this has been of profit to you, I love you, peace be with you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

    If you would like to read how to be saved please click >  article_read.asp?item=117 as I have outlined the gospel and included all the Bible verses one would need in order to be stablished in the faith once delivered unto the saints.  There is only 1 gospel that saves just as there is only ONE that can save you!
